About
The 12th is the War Disabled Hall. In it are exhibited a number of about 40 artificial limbs for amputees, as well as guardians of various types. These are prostheses that were worn by invalids of WWII and the Guerrilla War and were returned to the Army Service because they were worn out, caused skin ulcers due to local friction, or were no longer small in size for the invalids.
Some of the additions are placed on dummies, to show how they were attached to the body. A wheelchair and Red Cross nurses’ uniforms complete a special picture of the past that no one would want our country to relive.
