Rooms 6 and 7 are dedicated to the memory of Professor Dimitrios Glaros, rector of the University of Ioannina, who was a strong supporter of the idea of creating the Museum. With his help, the first large diagnostic X-ray and radiotherapy machines were assembled.
These included an early X-ray machine and a scintigraph from the 1970s. The scintigraphy has only been used on a total of six patients. Its enormous size and weight made it difficult to use. Thus, an almost unused diagnostic machine ended up becoming an exhibit at M.I.I.P.I.
